Packets Received
|
The number of
IP (or other application packets) received by the modem from the
Internet or network you are attached to. This field should never
be 0 if you are actively using your network connection.

Packets Transmitted
|
The number of
IP (or other application packets) transmitted by the modem from
the Internet or network you are attached to. This field should never
be 0 if you are actively using your network connection.

Received
Packets Discarded
|
The number of
IP (or other application packets) received by the modem from the
Internet or network you are attached to but "thrown" away, due to
internal modem errors, because they could not be processed for one
reason or another by the modem. In general, this field should have
a 0 value. But it would be acceptable under heavy loads to see some
incrementing in this field.

Frame Method
|
The method you
are using to access your Service Provider's network. The possible
values are PPPoA (VC MUX), PPPoA (LLC), Routed or Bridged. May be
asked for by Customer Support but is of little interest otherwise.
