About
The MIDIoverLAN CP MIDI driver ver 3.3 (later MolCp III driver) is a set of software components providing MIDI connections over the local network. This product provides up to 16/64 "MolCp3Port" IN/OUT MIDI device(s) to transfer MIDI stream between several MIDI/Audio oriented applications (sequencers, samplers, softsynths) on a different computers (Mac/PC) connected to network. Port numbering will be octal compliant, if number of ports is 64 (Platinum Edition).
With MolCp III driver you can:
- synchronize sequencers on several computers;
- play music using your sound devices located on different computers in a time (i.e. run GigaStudio on dedicated computer and connect it to your sequencer without annoying necessity of using traditional MIDI interfaces);
- play jam sessions on several computers;
- record music played back on remote computer.
In any case listed above you could setup your studio connections without traditional MIDI cables wherever possible!
NOTE, that the Driver (ver 3.0+) is based on new MIDIoverLAN technology and NOT COMPATIBLE to any previous versions of MusicLab MIDIoverLAN CP (vers 1.x, 2.x) but WILL PROPERLY WORK simultaneously with those ones currently installed.

NOTE, to avoid "LICENSE VIOLATION DETECTED" MolCp3 alert, you should follow two simple rules:
- Don't try to use more than 2 computers with MolCp3 trial version installed.
- Installing multiple copies of MolCp3 don't move to the next computer to install MolCp3 until current MolCp3 installation is properly registered and the system is then restarted.
Uninstallation
If your current installed version of MolCp3 is 3.3.0 or higher you could save current settings before uninstallation in order to restore current settings after installation of newer MolCp3 version (please refer to Save/Load configuration). Note: MolCp3 version 3.3.0+ uninstaller will remove all MolCp3 settings including registration information (licence).
PC platform:

- Invoke "Terminal" utility ("/Applications/Utils/Terminal").
- Drag "/Applications/MusicLab/uninstMolCp3.sh" script file, drop it into Terminal window and press "Enter" key.
- On "password:" prompt enter your "root" password and press "Enter" once again. If there are no any error messages it's assumed MolCp3 software was successfully uninstalled.
NOTE, if you try to invoke uninstall script not having administrative privileges or having entered wrong "root" password MolCp3 software MAY NOT be completely removed from your system.
Trial version limitations
MolCp3 software (until registered) expires in TWO WEEKS after initial installation. During this period MolCp3 is fully functional and allows to try it on TWO HOSTS ONLY (mac + mac, mac + pc, pc + pc).
NOTE, MolCp3 trial version WILL NOTIFY AND IMMEDIATELY STOP TO WORK if more than 2 MolCp3 trial copies on active hosts connected to the same network is detected.
To get MolCp3 working after "License violation" detected you should deactivate extra MolCp3 trial copy (either shutdown extra host or uninstall its MolCp3 driver) and make system restart on all (two in this case) other MolCp3 hosts affected by extra MolCp3 trial copy activation.
